The doctor told me what they saw in the X-Rays. It is a nodule. They have to do a CT Scan to find out what it is made of. The possibility exsists that it might be cancer. I’m concerned that it is cancer but at the same time I am releived that there is only one nodule and not many. It is possible that the fact that I was sent to get pre-op tests might have saved my life. This might be an act from above. An angel looking out for me. Who knows.
Do I want to know?
I went to the doctor for an injury. The doctor treated my injury and found something inside my ankle that required surgery to remove. They sent me to the hospital to get what is called pre-op testing. They take an E.K.G. and chest X-Rays along with blood tests. A couple of days later the doctor calls me and tells me that my X-Rays and bloodworks are abnormal and that I have to see an internal medicine doctor to get clearance for surgery. Do I really want to know what this doctor has to tell me? Have any of us ever faced our mortality one on one. It is possible that tomorrow is the day I find out what I will die from. I am not sure I want to know this. I am not sure that it is wise to go to this appointment knowing what kind of person I am capable of being. If I found out I was dying, what would keep me from being the total a**hole I was before? In the past I have been the guy you did not want to run into in a dark alley. I do not want to be him anymore. I made the choice to be a good person. Knowing that my reward for this is to just die might be the straw that breaks the camels back for me. I will go tomorrow and hope for the best.
Can you believe it?
Are you getting your news form the television or the web? Have you ever researched the people that you are trusting to do your research for you? Most news agencies around the world are forced to print or state retractions on a regular basis. This is not because they made a mistake and Missinterpreted someone. This is because they LIED. Modern day news is sensationalistic journalism and cares not for the truth of what is reported. All they want are headlines and responses from viewers. So what if the guy who’slife you ruined sues you for a bunch of money. If you made enough to cover your loss it is fine with the publisher to keep on doing it. The people who decide to do this for a living are not the upstanding moral citizens that they would have portraid on the broadcast. If you had a news story for a reporter about a guy who came to a neighborhood and repaired all the things wrong with the house and that he was willing to do the same for every house on the street the reporter would be interested. If you tell the same reporter three minutes later that there was gang violence on third street he would jump in a camera truck and break every speed limit twixt here and third street to get blood and guts on the evening news.

Satisfaction
Do you really know what it means to be satisfied?
Most people go their entire lives without really knowing what this means. The average person is used to having small successes in different areas of their lives. This is not to say that small successes cannot be satisfying but rather to say that there is a much bigger picture to consider. Have you ever awakened to find that you have a smile on your face and no compulsion to get up and go do something as if it were a “have to”? For most of us, the reason behind a lack of satisfaction is that we set our goals so high that we cannot ever get them accomplished. Simple pleasures in life begins with ignorance is bliss. If you always worry about something or someone you have stress build up. If you did not know them or about them you would have no worries i.e. no stress. Allowing yourself to let issues and problems fade to the background in your daily lives will allow you to handle more immediate concerns. School or work could be your simple pleasure if you were able to accomplish your goals on a regular basis. My suggestion to you is to not worry about other people until you are satisfied with your own life and your own situations. Your life will be better for it.
Who is the concience of America?
Who is really the conscience of America?
Is it the court system our conscience? I seriously doubt it.
The current system of legal prosecution is loaded with traps and pitfalls for the average citizen. The district attorneys only care about conviction records so they can be re-elected. The attorney for the defense is often flaccid and incapable of mounting a proper defense unless you pay them enough money to make it worth their time. No, I do not think that the legal system is our conscience. Is it the law-makers? Congress has been accused of harboring some of the most corrupt people to walk the planet. The average politician is described as someone who will kiss a baby for the press photo and steal it’s lollipop for the monitory gains the next second. The senate is actually known for one party to filibuster the other party just so it cant get a vote on a law or bill. A filibuster is when a senator or group of them talks and talks about a proposed piece of legislation for hours and hours until the super-majority (3/5)
of the senate has decided they cannot stand to listen to it anymore and vote to close the issue rather than listen to anymore talking. These people are absolutely horrid individuals and should not be allowed to represent anyone.No, I do not think congress is our conscience. If these are not our conscience then who is?
I think it is you, the individual. I think you are our last great hope for a future. The powers that be are corrupt and incompetent. We cannot limit terms for offices when the people who have to vote for this are the people who will get fired. Why do we complain about the process when we are the cause of the problems? If you voice your concerns enough, you will eventually be heard.
If you explain why you are unhappy, someone will eventually take an action.
Do not be sheep led to slaughter by corrupt power hungry fools.
Stand up for yourselves by calling your local Representatives and complaining about what bothers you.
Speak your mind and tell the truth.
You know they do not want to hear it but tell them anyway.
Be the conscience of America.
Be a leader not just a member of the flock.
Who I am
I had to re-write this section and be a litle more specific as to who I really am. I am a person born to middle-class. You know your middle class if your parents have money but will not give you any. If you think this is funny your probably middle class. I was a victim of judge barefoot sanders idea of how schools should be integrated. Basically that means the only white kid in an all black school. I do not like to hear people talk about prejudice when I know first hand they do not have a clue. If you ask me a question I will probably answer with some small amount of truth mixed with a great amount of sarcasm. I have always known right from wrong and have usually chosen something in between. There is a life out there for each of us to find. I hope you find yours.
